The Workshop

During this workshop you will learn how to produce and shape the classic Italian Orecchiette, Pici and other eggless semolina pasta (pasta di semola) such as Busiate, Maccheroni al ferretto, Lorighittas and Cavatelli.

In all our workshops we respect the tradition of the true Italian pasta fresca. You won’t need any machines. In fact, you will learn the art of  producing handmade fresh pasta, exactly as an Italian granny does!

The workshop is a perfect opportunity for beginners and amateurs who want to learn the right techniques of:

  • producing and kneading the pasta dough with semolina and water
  • rolling out the dough by hands or with a rolling pin
  • cutting and forming the Orecchiette and other eggless pasta types

The course will be held in English, German and Italian according to the language of the participants.

Dinner + Drinks
After two intense hours of kneading and cutting you can immediately taste your fresh pasta, vegetarian options are also available.
Wine, beer or soft drinks are included in the dinner. Water will be available during the whole course.

What you will take home
Once done with the job you will get to take home your freshly produced pasta, a Workshop Handout and a Certificate of Participation!
